Story

Sisters reunite 12 months on to run 10k to raise money for the amazing place that cared for our Mum and supported us as a family when we needed it! 💔 The actual event has been cancelled due to the pandemic but that's not stopping us - restrictions permitting we will plot our own route and run together locally 🏃 Totally understand we are in challenging times but your support and donations would be extremely well received and us and Bolton Hospice will be forever grateful! Thanks in advance. Karen and Claire ❤

Updates

10k smashed by 5 runners - thank you!

8th November 2020
5 runners smashing a 10k each today and can't thank you all enough for the amazing support and generosity of your donations! The monies will make a real difference to Bolton Hospice in supporting patients and their families - something we are forever grateful for!

Final update before the run!

7th November 2020
Bolton Hospice as other charities are feeling a massive impact this year after the cancellation of numerous fundraising events due to Covid 19. Original plans to head to Lytham tomorrow for the Windmill Remembrance 10k have changed with 2 runners becoming 5 - all ready to smash their 10k routes to raise funds to support patients and their families. We are forever grateful for the amazing care that our lovely mum received and would love to help make a difference for others - your donations would mean so much to us and all at Bolton Hospice! Claire, Karen, Alex, Katie and Louise

4 runners become 5 as Louise joins to overcome the lockdown challenges!

1st November 2020
Lockdown number 2 may be bringing its challenges (you may only exercise with one other person outside of your household) BUT we have a plan as 4 runners become 5! Katie will take to the streets of York! Karen and Alex will parade the pavements of Culcheth! AND Claire will be joined by her amazing Area Manager and friend Louise to run from and to Bolton Hospice! Only one week to go and the team may be split by distance but we will all be running the distance for the same worthy cause - 10K on Sunday 8th November to raise monies for the brilliant Bolton Hospice! Your donations would mean so much to us and Bolton Hospice!

Two more vests collected!

28th October 2020
Two more Bolton Hospice vests collected today as two runners on Sunday 8th November become 4! Super proud of Katie who will run her 10k treadmill style in York and Alex is going to make sure his mum and Auntie keep a decent pace in Bolton! Route map being planned as we speak but we will all be smashing that 10k whatever the weather to raise much needed funds for this amazing place who really do go above and beyond in caring for patients and their families!
